Papule could act as an intermediary stage for acne to turn into a more harmful cystic acne or nodular acne. Hence it is always wise to try to control your papule before it turns into severe acne. Papule are inflammatory.
A papule appears when the follicle wall breaks and white blood cells rush in, causing the lesion to be inflamed. It appears as very small solid lesion on skin surface.
A group of very small papule will cause a “sandpaper” feeling when touched. Papule are often confuse with pimple. Pimple are slightly more serious than papule. The difference between papule and pimple is that a papule does not contain pus.
Papule can be identified as tiny lesion that does not contain anything in it(without pus).
